Hey Guys!
I'm back after quite a long break but many things went on iny life. Some were really bad, some were good but yeah, I'm going to explain all of this on Wednesday's post even if you probably already know it if you follow me on Instagram.
Today I'm introducing to you Keratex Equestrian, a brand I have discovered on Instagram a while ago and that have kindly sent to me some of their products in order to test and review them.
"Keratex is an award winning leading equestrian hoofcare range.
Our products are known and sold worldwide. The Keratex range identifies common issues relating to horses’ hooves and provides solutions that are both practical and lasting.
Our products are specific, high-end and formulated for outstanding results.
We are “science for hooves”."
The two products I have tested are the Coconut Oil Hoof Balm and the Nail Hole Damage Repair. I have tested both and I am really satisfied of the results.
The Coconut Oil Hoof Balm is a blend of ingredients such as beeswax and coconut oil made to protect, nourish and leave a glossy finish to the hoof but also keeping a certain breathability. You can find it available in both black and clear for the price of £10.79 + Vat for a 400mL container.

I use this product almost daily in order to keep Ayuni's hooves in perfect condition despite the really dried ground in arena. I always apply a thin coat of this product before the classes at the shows to get that clean and glossy finish that I love so much. As it's a natural product, it melts really easily when it s hot outside which gives it more of a creamy texture but I find it easier and more pleasant to apply.

The only negative point I could find to this Hoof Balm is that its creamy texture makes you take a lot more on the brush and that makes the product finish way faster.

Overall I am really satisfied by this product and I totally recommend it to you.

The other product that I've been sent is the Nail Hole Damage Repair which is is an oil ment to put in the nail holes in order to protect and to stop the cracks from expending more in the hoof. You can find it in a 300mL bottle for £14.43 +Vat.

To be totally honest with you, at first I thought I wouldn't use this product this much but I had a closer look at Ayuni's hooves and I found several little cracks that I would have never seen before. I applied the product on the Nail Holes as well as on the little cracks and it really helped the hoof. When I saw one of the cracks I said the horseshoe will never last until the farrier comes but it actually did!

The product is really easy to apply (once you get how it works lol). Actually, it comes with a normal bottle cap and a separate cone cap with a tiny closing piece so I put the cone cap and tried to apply it but nothig was flowing (haha I wonder why) so I thought it was broken or something but then I had a closer look and I realised you have to cut off the top part of the cone in order to open the cap but it still wasn't working si I rechecked and I saw I needed to cut more because the hole was not reaches yet (if you see what I mean). Anyway, once I figured out how it works, I realised this system was absolutely amazing as you can choose how big the hole of the cap is, depending on what you prefer.

Also big up to this product for its smell. At first when I saw that is was oily and I got some on my hands I thought my hands will smell absolutely horrible, just like regular oil but I was very surprised that it has a really pleasant smell of orange that can be smelled all around the stable after being applied.
Overall I want to say a huge huge thank you to Keratex Equestrian for spending me these products to test them out and I sincerely recommend both of the products I have tested as well as all the other Keratex Equestrian products. I will for sure buy more from then in ths future and you will certainly hear again about this amazing brand on my social media as I just love it.

You will find below links to their Instagram page and of their website.
That being said, I wish you all good day!
